Warrior Dash is the world's largest running series and is held on challenging and rugged terrains across the world. Participants bound over fire, trudge through mud and scale over 12 obstacles during this fierce 5K.

The inspiration behind Warrior Dash was to create the most bad-ass day possible. It is a day where participants can challenge themselves, be active and get muddy. Participants tackle the course and then celebrate their accomplishments with beer, food and live music.
Warrior Dash is an alternative to the classic 5K and provides an incomparable experience for participants and spectators. In the end, we are in the business of having fun! I wouldn't even call this "Milwaukee" as it was an hour away. It wasn't so much an obstacle run as it was just running a 5k up and down ski hills which was incredibly brutal, hot, and not what I signed up for. The obstacles were almost all climb up and over ropes or tent shaped structures, or under wire. There was only 1 water obstacle halfway through and one decent mud pit at the very end.
I would not do this run again for this price with the venue and obstacles. There was only 1 food vendor and the line was painfully long for average food. This event could have been sooo much better. Of the 12 'new' obstacles, 5 of them didn't exist. Granted they gave each one a different name but they were essentially the same obstacle. We ran at so El Capitan was closed for safety, which is understandable. But after running past it, I didn't mind missing out on it since it was essentially a huge slide.
Not a big slide into water or muddy water, just a big slide, nothing fun to look forward to at the bottom. I think they got lucky it rained so much before the race or it really would have been just a dirt run with a few cheap obstacles. Although I didn't mind the t-shirt design, they were cheap.
For a 10th Anniversary Tour, you'd think they would have gone all out but it seems like they phoned this one in. There will be lifeguards on site. During the race, there will be two water stations throughout the race course. Water and bananas will be available after you cross the finish line.
Please choose this wave during the registration process if you would like to run competitively. Please note that the competitive wave will not be officially timed, but the top 10 male and top 10 female runners will be placed by race officials. We know our Warriors love having fellow Warriors with them on race day, but also other comrades to watch them on the battleground and cheer after.
Spectators are welcome to join the festival, probably get a big mud hug and watch the course and some obstacles in the spectator viewing area all at no cost. The more the merrier to rock on during a full day of bad-assery. Warrior Dash parking is free to spectators and already included in your registration for participants. Party like a warrior! Beer, bands, food and fun will begin approximately 30 minutes after the first wave.
Warrior Dash is a self-timed event. There will be clocks at the start and finish lines, as well as clocks at each mile marker. We also encourage racers to bring a waterproof watch.
Warrior Dash is only open to participants 14 years old and older. For participants under 18 years old on race day, your parent or guardian must be present during on race day at packet pick-up to sign a waiver and release for you.
Additional beer, clothing, merchandise, and food items think turkey legs, corn on the cob, etc. Vegetarian food options will be available, however gluten free food and beverages are not guaranteed. Remember, no outside food or drinks will be allowed. Feel free to leave your keys, t-shirt and all those items you don't want to carry with you during the race.
Participants must be years-old or older on race day in order to participate. We highly recommend participants wear running shoes. Participants should dress appropriately. You're good to go, as long as your costume or running shoes do not harm other participants. Keep in mind you will need to affix your chip timer to your foot they work best attached to shoes, but zip ties will also be available at packet pick-up.
Finishing Urban Warrior Dash is more about mental toughness than being in great shape. You're expected to complete all obstacles. If you're unable to complete an obstacle you may bypass the obstacle and receive your finisher medal, although you'll be disqualified from all awards. Urban Warrior Dash is only open to participants years-old and older. For participants under years-old on race day, your parent or guardian must be present during on race day at packet pick-up to sign a waiver and release for you.
