To my surprise, you can order breads or large tarts or anything they serve - which is great if you want to bring a large lemon tart to a party.

Did you know they make the bread at the historic Savage Mill? I visited the Savage store for a fruit tart and coffee, and I was very dissatisfied. Not only did the fruit tart taste like it sat in the refrigerator for more than a week, the coffee was lukewarm, and the manager was unwilling to replace the item when I brought my food back to the counter.

And even after she asked to look at the plate to be sure I hadn't eaten half of it, she told me I could not replace it. The manager offered to give me another pastry at a discount instead of refunding my money or offering another item and refunding the difference.
